ALIGN PRECISION - North Plains, LLC ALIGN PRECISION - North Plains, LLC North Plains, OR North Plains, OR Full-time Full-time From $30 an hour From $30 an hour Quality Assurance / Inspection ALIGN PRECISION is a precision machine shop located in North Plains, is looking to add a key resource to its quality assurance department.
We are located in a new 35,000 sq ft facility with state of the art machinery and equipment.
Ideal candidates should have a background in CMM programming, precision machine shop inspection and inspection processes, specifically CNC machined parts.
Responsibilities:
o Ability to prioritize inspection jobs in a dynamic environment to ensure efficient work flow.
o Programming and operation of CMM's.
o Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure machining, parts finishing, and assembly operations result in components that meet all customer specifications.
o Review and signoff work orders, providing paperwork and information related to quality assurance.
o Modify manufacturing and assembly plans as process improvements are made.
o Write and follow up on non-conformances, preventive actions, and corrective actions.
o Read blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances.
o Inspects products during all operations to determine if parts meet specifications, complying with established standards and methods for inspection, testing, evaluation and calibration.
o Resource for manufacturing personnel for understanding quality standards.
o Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; reports need for machine repairs.
o Understand and comply with company policy safety guidelines, quality systems requirements and housekeeping standards.
Job Skills/
Experience:
o Experience using common machine shop inspection devices (i.
e.
micrometer, calipers, thread gages, height gages, and optical comparator).
o In-depth understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance principles.
o Experience programming CMM's, specifically Zeiss/Calypso software is a plus.
o Experience with ISO 9001:
2008 and/or AS9100C quality management systems preferred but not required.
o Attention to detail, self-managed, with excellent communication skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
